SWS was incepted in 1997 with the vision to provide meaningful care, support and counselling services to engage the elderly, the sick, the lost and the lonely, irrespective of race or religion.
There is a vision towards a more engaged nation, one in which we take more responsibility for ourselves and our neighbours. Volunteers invest efforts into a community and work together to benefit someone else. While giving back through social responsibility, volunteers recognise that they too, gain significant benefits, both physically and mentally.
Volunteers are a valuable resource to an organisation. Volunteers get directly involved with those who need care and all the efforts make a real difference in the lives of those Salem Welfare Services serves.
